Our week at Pre-School

This week has been full of sunshine and fun!

The children have enjoyed plenty of water play this week. We've taken small groups onto the field to run through a sprinkler if they wish. All the children enjoyed this as a way of staying cool.
As well as water play on field, we had some new balls delivered in the week, so took the opportunity to play some football on the field. Children were able to move in a range of ways across the field to reach the ball and have a go at scoring a goal.

On Wednesday, Clair brought in a tent for us to try and erect. The children loved this experience although the outcome was not quite how we wished. The children spoke about tents and how many of them have slept in one on holiday with their family. We also spoke about how big or small tents can be and the different colours they usually are. Many described how their tents looked.

With the hot weather, we've been encouraging all children to stop for regular drink breaks. Some afternoons we've even had ice pops! Yummy!

The children made an amazing obstacle course for ball control using resources in the outside area. The resources the children used were planks of wood, bouncy balls, the pre-school bench and a basket ball hoop. The children were keen to each have a go at the obstacle course and also got adults involved too.

We hope you all have a fantastic weekend and look forward to seeing you all next week!
